Galatians is one of the most profound books of the bible to study/ Why is that? Because Paul was dealing with much of what we all still deal with today, and that is called legalism! Legalism distorts the “good news” of the Gospel. In this overview we will learn why Paul began this particular letter the way he did and we’ll cover some historical background as well to help us understand why the new believers in the churches in Galatia were falling away from their faith so fast. Would we be able to recognize distorted views of the Gospel if we heard it? During these next 6 lessons, through Paul’s letter to the Galatians, we will find out.
